Nokia WML Studio (PC Only)
WML Authoring Extension The Nokia WML Studio for Macromedia Dreamweaver
is an extension to the popular HTML authoring environment allowing
developers to create and preview WML (Wireless Markup Language)
content for wireless devices. Specifically developed by Nokia, the
preview function displays the content in the user's browser as it
would appear in the Nokia 7100 series phone interface.
The studio works as an extension
to Macromedia Dreamweaver, and is launched from within the Dreamweaver
editor. It includes a WML 1.1 parser, and features drag and drop
creation of WML content. The studio also comes with a Fireworks
Xtra, allowing developers with Fireworks to create image files especially
suited to Nokia devices.
The Nokia WML Studio is currently
in beta and can be downloaded free from the Macromedia Exchange.
