Wap Nari Dissect Image

If you have ever wanted to jump into the Wireless Application Protocol and Wireless Markup Language (WAP/WML) Web Development arena, you're going to have to get use to a new kind of image, *.wbmp. Wap Nuri is a program that will help you through a lot of red tape, and reduce valuable time in half, when converting to regular web format to wireless bit map format.

Before using Wap Nuri I used another program to convert, and before I going off on a tangent I'll just tell you that it was a lot harder to use. I know what some of you all are saying. You don't like a program doing everything, how will you customize? I guess these people don't know the reason we automate; we automate to save time.

Wap Nuri is actually two programs in one, it's a WBMP converter, and an WBMP viewer. It's bundled in a suite, Dissect Image of Wap Nuri and wBmp.

Dissect image is the image converter, or what I like to call my WBMP creator. You can decide which of the two wizards you want to apply the one click or the detailed mode. The two wizard modes do exactly what's implied by their titles; the one click you select the images and "boom!", you have 12 results staring you in the face. The detailed wizard ask you more questions, so you can have a little more control over the output of the image.

wBmp viewer is the second of part of Wap Nuri as a whole. Since Wap Nuri doesn't do any file association with the *.wbmp you can use this tool just like your Windows Explore view file as Web page option. You can navigate through directories of images to find the images you're looking for. It won't preview any GIFs or JPEGs, so it's not an all one package for viewing and organizing all your image needs.

The two programs complement each other well, because after converting images, you're obviously going to need to view them and sort them. It's a very good time saver for those WAP people that just want a simple task performed. Wap Nari is freeware; for no cost this is certainly the best cost per product.
