What AOWT expect of its members |
AOWT members shall:
- Have considerable, proven experience developing
or deploying Wireless Technology.
- In the event of employing sub-contracted labour,
ensure the sub-contractor is a competent and bona fide firm, duly
licensed by the health & Safety Executive, with adequate insurance
cover, and that in carrying out the work, the sub-contractor complies
with the stringent standards for workmanship and safe practice
required by this Association;
- Make an application to the Association by submitting
a completed Application for Membership Questionnaire;
- Provide a representative for interview with Membership
Committee, if required;
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of current
legislation effecting work with Wireless Technology, and undertake
to implement safe working practices in compliance with the Health
& Safety Commissions approved Code of Practice.
- Undertake to establish and maintain maintenance
records of all software, machinery and equipment used, and further
insure that maintenance of such software, machinery and equipment,
whether owned or hired, is carried out under safe and controlled
conditions;
- Be able to demonstrate that all operational staff
have undergone a formal training program recognised by aowt.org
- Be prepared to undertake all work in accordance
with the association's code of conduct.
